Our Mission

At Directors Market, we transform screenplays into cinematic animated proof-of-concept trailers that help screenwriters pitch their ideas to filmmakers, producers, and studios.

Let us be the middle-man. We’ll connect screenwriters with filmmakers to bring their stories to life. Real art for real ideas. Artists helping artists!

Our mission is to create opportunities for creatives everywhere.

Meet The Team

Founder & animation Director

Alex Lederman

The founder of Directors Market.

I made my first trailer in late 2025 for a close friend of mine. That become the first proof of concept on Directors Market (Death Day).

I had one goal: Bring the screenplay to life. When I showed them the final result, their eyes lit up. For the first time, they saw their ideas leap off the page into something real. I knew then I wanted to make pre visual art for screenwriters.

In April 2026, I had the idea to start Directors Market, and I haven’t looked back.

Thank you for your support, and for visiting Directors Market. I hope my company can give you the opportunities and connections you need to bring your ideas to the big screen.

By Artists. For Artists.

A young man with tattoos wearing a white tank top and distressed jeans sits outside on a black chair next to a colorful abstract painting of a woman with pink hair on an easel. Around him are art supplies, bottles of paint, and a red water bottle. The scene appears to be a backyard or outdoor art space with a beige wall and a window in the background.
